This activity has the students use their TI-84 graphing calculators to study four sets of lines. The lines in each of the first three sets have something in common. Students are asked to draw a sketch of the four lines and look for similarities and differences. They are also asked to look a set of table values associated with the four lines and look for patterns.
In the fourth set the students are asked to identify which line is which and tell how they knew.
