How many triangles can be formed with the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6? Have students roll the 3 dice once again to generate three numbers. Using the conjecture they made in the first part of the activity have the students make a list of all the triangles that can be formed with the set of numbers 1 through 6. To organize the data use the following chart. Once a triangle is listed it should be re-listed in the chart.
