Large Model for Teacher (Cut out, mark where the ant and crumb are located and tape together.)
Give students a copy of the six faces of the rectangular room. The cut out for the rectangular room will allow the students to try forming the different nets for the six walls. From this the students can calculate the length of the path followed by the ant as it travels from its starting location to the crumb.
