Students enrolling in Calculus AP should be able to work with the algebra of functions, including understanding them and graphing them.

Students working at the calculus level should understand functions (Section 6), graphs of lines (Section 7), graphs of functions (Section 8) symmetry in graphing functions (Section 9), transformations used with basic functions to create other functions (Section 10),  how to find and describe the domain and range of a function (Section 11) and Inverse Functions (Section 12).  These next six sections will review these key concepts.
